National Employment Service opens public invitation for subsidies for employment and self-employment – Employers to get up to RSD 300,000 per new worker

The National Employment Service has opened public invitations for allocation of subsidies for self-employment, employment of people from the hard-to-employ category in newly opened job positions, as well as for salaries with people with disabilities without working experience in 2017.

The subsidies for one-off self-employment amount to RSD 180,000 or RSD 200,000 in case of self-employment of surplus employees or RSD 220,000 for unemployed people with disabilities. The final deadline for submitting requests with self-employment business plans is April 10.

The public invitation for employers for allocation of subsidies for employment of people from the hard-to-employ category in newly opened job position, as stated in the add, is open until the day the funds are spent or until November 30, 2017, at the latest, and the subsidies range between RSD 150,000 and 300,000 (per employee).

The National Employment Service has also opened public invitations for organizing the performance of public works in which unemployed persons are hired, as well as for unemployed people with disabilities and for refunding the expenses of support to people with disabilities who are employed under special conditions in 2017.

Public invitations for the realization of internship programs, programs of acquiring practical knowledge for unqualified persons, as well as programs of acquiring practical knowledge for surplus employees and persons unemployed in the long-term, who have been registered at the National Employment Service for more than 18 months, have also been opened.

The National Employment Service has opened a public invitation of refunding the expenses of support to people with disabilities who are employed under special conditions and a public invitation for taking part in financing the training program at the employer's request.

The public invitation for unemployed people of Romani ethnicity for allocation of subsidies for self-employment in 2017 is open until April 10, and the subsidies amount to RSD 180,000, 200,000 and 220,000.

The Action Plan for Employment for 2017, adopted by the Government of Serbia, envisions RSD 2.8 billion to be set aside for active employment measures in 2017, and the plan also envisions an additional RSD 550 million for people with disabilities.
