The public invitation for IPARD incentives for the purchase of mechanization and equipment opened today, December 25, 2017, and the application deadline is February 26, 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture announced.
The public invitation for incentives for the purchase of new tractors will open on January 4, 2018, and the period for the submission of these requests will last from the said date until February 26, 2018, the press release adds.
Incentives amount to 60% to 80%, depending on whether the applicant is a young agriculturist, whether the farm is located in the mountain area and whether the investment pertains to waste management and waste waters.
This also encompasses the sectors of milk, meat, fruit and vegetables and other crops (certain types of grain and industrial plants).
The incentives available in the sectors of fruit, vegetables and other crops range from EUR 5,000 to EUR 700,000, whereas the ones in the sectors of milk and meat range from EUR 5,000 to EUR 1,000,000.
Acceptable investments and expenditures pertain to the purchase of new mechanization, equipment and tractors, as well as general expenditures (costs of preparation of the project and the technical documentation), the press release adds.
