Interreg–IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Hungary–Serbia announced that it had launched the Third Call for Proposals, with the total amount of IPA funding of EUR 10.38 million intended for a broad range of Applicants and actions within the Hungary-Serbia border region. It will be open until September 30, 2019.
The call is meant for projects improving cross-border water management and risk prevention systems, reducing traffic bottlenecks in the cross-border transport network, encouraging cooperation in tourism and cultural heritage preservation, or enhancing SMEs’ economic competitiveness through innovation-driven development.
Supported projects are required to be implemented within the eligible area of the Programme, namely, in Hungary, Csongrád, and Bács-Kiskun counties, and in Serbia, West Bačka, North Bačka, North Banat, South Bačka, Middle Banat, South Banat, and Srem.
Organisations eligible to apply for the funding allocated to the Programme are public authorities, bodies governed by public law, as a general rule non-profit organisations governed by private law.
Financed projects are required to last for at least six months, but no longer than 18 months.
