Serbia is the first country in the region to prepare a program for access to the EU’s new IPARD3 funds for agriculturists, Tanjug learns.
The proceeds from the IPARD3 program will be used for the construction of roads, sewer systems and other accompanying rural infrastructure, which is necessary to strengthen the rural areas, but also to facilitate life and work for agriculturists.
This is one of the most important funds for the strengthening of rural areas and support to people living there.
Serbian Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic stated earlier that even bigger subsidies for IPARD programs were planned for 2021 and that around EUR 225 million would be available to agriculturists, for supporting more than 150 projects in the territory of Serbia.
