– When the fast railroad to Budapest, and then also to Nis and further, to Presevo and Skopje, is finished, along with the section toward the Croatian border, which would continue toward Zagreb, Ljubljana and Vienna and Venice, Serbia will become a true rail hub in this part of Europe – Vesic said on that occasion, according to the ministry’s website.
He pointed out that the Belgrade-Sarajevo railroad would be reconstructed as well, for which Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will request funds together from the European Commission, which, according to the minister, will be the first joint project of the two countries following the signing of the Dayton Agreement.

He added that the Ruma-Sabac-Loznica fast route, 77 kilometers long, which would connect Macva and West Serbia with Corridor 10, was also being built. He also informed Hill that the designing of the Pozega-Kotroman highway, planned to be 61 kilometers long and the most demanding for construction, and which would continue further toward Sarajevo, had been completed.
