Emirates are interested in investing in Cacak

Today, representatives of the Serbian business association from Abu Dhabi visited Cacak and showed their interest in cooperation, president of the City assembly, Veljko Negovanovic, said. According to him, the purpose of their visit was an excellent presentation of businessmen from Caca at the fair in SCC.

- We discussed specific cooperation in the field of their and our SMEs, agriculture i.e. meat production and they are interested in export of our fruit and vegetables to their markets – Negovanovic said for Tanjug.

When it comes to cattle breeding in our region, tender for the sale of Stocar is underway which would generate options for processing capacities, he estimated.

- We have a specific project for production of fruit and vegetables and construction of a big warehouse is planned as well. For cargo center, we offered PPP funding option. Cacak will provide equipped utility locations and UAE potential investors would built the capacities – he specified.

Representatives of UAE-based Serbian business association are also interested in spas with quality water and have not been built, he added.

- We have Slatinska banja where they would make a spa center with numerous facilities and other location is Preljinska Baluga since the town started land acquisition where there is a drill dated since the seventies of the last century which Naftagas did. A part of research has been done and it is very quality water – he stressed out.

Negovanovic expressed expectation that the projects will be implemented and the minister from UAE will soon visit our country as he said.
