One dinar for Zlatar ski rent!

Tourist-sports center Zlatar offered to rent for a dinar Skijalista Zlatar with a ski-house and a four-seat cable car near the city center.

During the past ten years, the Nova Varos municipality invested EUR 2,5 m of its own funds from donations and banking loans.

Ski resort which has a top and three giraffes for artificial snow was the main thing the authorities relied on in tourism development and the tender for a five-year rent was released after two bad seasons.

Two winters ago, when there was plenty of snow, a cable car worked for only 25 days and had 130 guests on the average while last winter there was almost no skiing since the sun was melting the snow. The main path, out of two, is 955 m long while cable car is 850 m and can transport 1.200 skiers.

- Unfortunately, among our staff we do not have enough of technical and other staff essential for the work of the resort and the law limits us in hiring new ones. Our objective is to make the ski resort working since without it, winter tourism is impossible so renting is the only solution – GM at Zlatar, Ivana Novakovic, says..

- The renter shall take over four people who currently work at the Panorama hotel with close-end contact and provide for the hotel guests which we rented last year 50 ski-passes free of charge in the season and a discount of 10% for every next ski-pas - TSC Zlatar says.
