Contract on swimming pool reconstruction in Sabac signed

At the city house in Sabac, the Contract on continuation of the works on reconstruction, rehabilitation and superstructure of indoor swimming pool was signed. Documents were signed by Nebojsa Zelenovic, the mayor of Sabac and Nenad Zivanovic, on behalf of contractors– consortium of four companies: Sabac-based In tehnik, Petro Mont from Novi Sad, Belgrade-based Aleks inzenjering and Novi Sad-based Elektrotim.

- City with 115.000 people needs an outdoor swimming pool and our objective is to make Sabac a city without non-swimmers - Nebojsa Zelenovic, the mayor of Sabac said and wished to consortium of four companies luck and citizens to get a swimming pool as soon as possible.

Reconstruction, rehabilitation and superstructure of indoor swimming pool costs RSD 249 m, VAT exluded. The works start immediately after the contract signing and according to contractual provision, they will end in seven months. If weather conditions allow, it is possible that citizens of Sabac get it earlier.

- The swimming pool is a multifunctional, for professional and recreational sport. We also planned a space for non-swimmers training. There will be a spa center, a gym, a café, offices and tribunes – Nenad Zivanovic said.

Apart from the fact that citizens of Sabac will get a swimming pool, Zivanovic outlines the importance of this work in economic sense since, apart from consortium members, a few more companies will be engaged.
