Pozarevac-based Ariva Litas buys Serbian "Mercedes"

Today, Ikarbus has signed sales contract with Pozarevac-based Ariva Litas on ten solo city buses, one prototype of which (IK112 LE) made in cooperation with German Mercedes.

As journalists were told at Ikarbus Zemun-based plant, it is the first Mercedes bus which Ikarbus sold. The vehicle is a combination of low-floor and mid-floor bus, with the capacity of 100 passengers.

Today, Ikarbus also signed the contract with Star Import on business and technical cooperation, based on which Ikarbus will become Mercedes’ authorized assembler for bus and sprinter truck chassis.
