The state is looking for a consultant for sale of Komercijalna banka – Call open until December 26
The Deposit Insurance Agency of Serbia released a call for delivery of statements of interest for the job of financial advisor for the sale of majority stake at Komercijalna banka.
As it was stated in the advertisement published on Friday at Politika, the stake
which will be offered for sale totals 84% of bank capital and it is comprised
of the shares of the Republic of Serbia, EBRD, IFC Capitalization (Equity) Fund,
DEG, and Swedfund. The call will be open until December 26.
Komercijalna banka is the second-ranked at the Serbian market. The stake of Komercijalna banka in Serbian banking sector at the end of September 2014 was 12,86%, stake in total deposits 14,82%, and 10,7% in total capital. Majrity stakeholder is the Republic of Serbia with 42% shares, EBRD has 24,4%, "IFC Capitalization (Equity) Fund 10,1%, DEG 4,6% and Swedfund 2,3%.
The interested companies should have extensive experience in privatization of banks and to have team of experienced experts. Companies can set up consortium.
