KWS opens the center for seeds processing in Becej- A total of EUR 30 m poured, 250 new hires
German KWS has opened today a plant in Becej, a center for seeds and maize processing where it poured EUR 30 m. It is the biggest investment in the municipality in the last 30 years.
The biggest section for maize seeds processing in Serbia will hire 250 people and the Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, officially opened it.
The complex of this plant on 15,5 ha in industrial zone in Becej has the most modern equipment and technology and its capacity is 10.000 tons of maize seeds.
The processed seed is planned for the Serbian market and for export to Russia, Ukraine and the neighboring and EU countries.
