A2A is looking for co-investor for the second block at Thermal power plant Pljevlja
Italian company A2A would accept that the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro (EPCG) is an investor for the construction of the second block of the Thermal power plant in Pljevlje provided that it pours 49% of required sum for the facility construction.
Pobjeda finds out that new partner should be searched for
the remaining 51% of necessary capital.
According to newspaper unofficial information, it is the result of current negotiations
between the Government and A2A, which have been halted at this moment due to
Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
The newspaper reminds that A2A, which owns 41,7% of capital
at EPCG, have stepped into negotiation
with decision not to accept participation of EPCG in the construction of the
second block of the Thermal power plant since so far they have not succeeded in
returning a portion of their investment in the Electric Power Industry. In 2009,
it totaled EUR 430 m.
The Government and A2A have three months to negotiate.
