"Henkel" opens factory of building glues in Inđija – investment worth 5m EUR
Company "Henkel" will open the new factory of building glues “Ceresit” in June 2007 in Inđija. This investment, worth 5m EUR, will have strategic role in the development of operations of the company in the region.
New factory will operate in accordance with the up-to-date production standards and it will offer, in the initial phase, more than 50 jobs. This is the second "Henkel’s" factory in Serbia, and the annual production capacity will be 100,000 tons of glue. Also, the powder materials will be produced for finishing works in civil engineering, as well as ready-made decorative mortars.
"Henkel" will continue production of glues in the factory in Kruševac, and the new factory, according to the company’s management, is there to broaden production. Darko Kozlovački, the Manager of business unit "Henkel - glues" says that this company plans to supply south Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Bulgaria with the products from the factory in Kruševac, while Belgrade, Vojvodina, Croatia, BiH and Romania will be getting products from the factory in Inđija.
- We provided the state-of-the-arts technology and equipment for the factory in Inđija, which is in accord with the highest world standards of ecological protection. Our aim is that the factory in Inđija becomes the model to all "Henkel" factories we intend to build in the future - says Kozlovački.
