Construction of brdige to Ribarsko ostrvo in Novi Sad starts in 2015
The mayor, Milos Vucevic, announced that in 2015, Novi Sad will get a pedestrian bridge which will connect the quay and Ribarsko ostrvo.
At the annual reception at the City house, he announced this as one of the biggest investments in the next year. The mayor reminded that the project was prepared a few years ago and that it is only left to implement works on construction as well as that it is realistic to expect that it is done in 2015.
Apart from bridge construction, Novi Sad will pour funds in the completion of construction of sewerage network and a few suburban settlements, construction of city sports hall in Petrovaradin, construction of Emergency center will start and a building with the hall for Ballet and Music school and construction of Buevar Evropa street will be finished and a part of the Temerinski put towards the highway will be reconstructed.
Vucevic said that at the end of the conversation with American- British company headquartered in London and which, according to the recommendation of the Government of Serbia, is considering the proposal to build a automotive components plant in Novi Sad. He added that in late January or early February, more details should be known on this investment.
