From Vienna to Bratislava in 20 minutes - Niki is introducing the shortest flight between two countries in the world
Austrian company Niki will introduce the shortest flight between the two countries in the world. As of April this year, the company, as announced, will introduce the Vienna-Bratislava flight.
The flight between these two capitals will last only 20 minutes which is the shortest flight between these two countries. With this flight, Niki wants to enable passengers from Slovakia connection to network of flights through Vienna.
Passengers will, as announced at the Austrian national television ORF, during the flight at 1.500 meters above the sea level, have a nice view over the Danube.
Flights can already b booked over the Internet
It takes almost an hour for a trip by car or train from Vienna to Bratislava. Airports in Vienna and Bratislava are only 47 km by air line, and so far, Slovaks have been using buses for journey through Vienna airport.
