Association of Chinese businessmen in Serbia set up

On Sunday, January 11, 2015, the official conference in Belgrade’s Sava center symbolized the setup of the Association of Chinese businessmen in Serbia which in the institutional way should contribute to development of economic cooperation of the two countries.

The Ambassador of China in Belgrade, Li Manchang, invited all Chinese who work in Serbia to obey the law, customs and tradition of a country host and to "develop together with Serbian friends all kinds of cooperation ".

He estimated that friendship between Serbia and China is "stronger today than yesterday and weaker than tomorrow".

President of the Association of Chinese businessmen in Serbia, Go Shiao , said the institution originated from the Chinese idea of a unique path and that its task is to fight for new business in Serbia.

Shiao and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade, Milivoje Miletic, signed during the official conference Agreement on cooperation of the Association and Chamber of Commerce.

According to Miletic, the agreement is important having in mind potential of cooperation with Chinese partners.
