Serbia to start furnishing its pavilion at Expo 2015 in Milan on February 1st

Serbia will get the keys to its pavilion at Expo 2015 in Milan and start furnishing it on February 1st. This world expo will be open between May 1st and the end of October 2015, the Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications announced Monday (12 January 2015).
As aforementioned ministry said in a release, the exhibition in Milan is one of the two most important events for Serbia this year with the other one being the OSCE Chairmanship.
The release also says that Serbia's slogan at Expo 2015 in Milan will be "Taste the Food, Feel the Life".
It is pointed out that the visitors of the Serbian pavilion in Milan will be able to try national cuisine and view the photos of landscapes and tourist destinations of our country, whereas their hosts during this six-month presentation will be the most notable artists and athletes of Serbia.
- Preparations have begun and, although the process of choosing the best designer solution is still underway, we will make it on time - said Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Rasim Ljajic.
According to him, there's a huge interest in Expo 2015 for which seven million tickets have already been sold. This event is expected to attract over 20 million visitors, which is why Serbia should utilize all available resources to present itself in the best possible light.
The release stresses that in addition to the presentation of the beauties of Serbia, Expo 2015 will also see our businessmen trying to attract new investors given that 144 countries will have their pavilion at this exhibition in Milan.
