Spring to see construction of German Tonnies'five facilities
(From the meeting) President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) Marko Cadez, announced yesterday that late spring will see parallel construction of five big facilities of German meat industry, Tonnies, and estimated the investment will support domestic producers to boost quality of their business and become a an associate of German giant.
Earlier yesterday, SCC announced that Tonnies, the biggest European meat producer, will set up the company in Serbia by the end of this week.
At yesterday’s meeting, delegation of Tonnies talked with representatives of authorized institutions and SCC about the business plan implementation, it was announced.
Representative of Tonnies, Ulirch Greve, said that after company set up in Serbia, the company is planning huge investments.
Then, Cadez said the investments of German company are f strategic importance for recover of domestic cattle production, technological level increase, Serbian agriculture competitiveness boost, inclusion of our producers at Tonnies’ chain and Serbian export increase.
