Banca Intesa represented "American Express BLUE" credit card for online payments and purchases

Banca Intesa represented yesterday (May 17, 2007) "American Express BLUE" credit card, which one can use to pay for goods and services through POS terminal, to take cash on ATMs and carry out online payments and purchases.

- "American Express BLUE" card is oriented towards the people who easily adapt "techno" style – said Dejan Tešić, a member of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa, and pointed out that that card was revolving card, made of transparent plastic, and it also had magnetic tape and electronic chip.

The users of "American Exspress BLUE" card also get the reader for the built-in chip, which is easily connected to personal computer. Its purpose is to save client’s data (username and password) to the chip after the first visit to the web site, which ensures secure use.

The first users of the card will not be paying for the annual fee for year 2007 if they make turnover of at least 300 EUR on that credit card until the end of the year.

Minimal monthly salary needed for obtaining of this card is 7,800 RSD. Interest rate in the promotional period of six months is 1.5% on monthly basis for RSD and 0.9% for EUR. After that period, the monthly interest rate will amount to 2% for RSD and 1.25% for EUR.
