Low-cost airlines interested in Belgrade

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is interested in establishing a service to Belgrade, and so are few other low-cost carrier such as JOIN Regional Airlines, Vueling Airlines, Germania Airlines, Belgrade Secretary of Economy Tijana Maljkovic announced Tuesday.
Presenting the tourist offer of Belgrade and Serbia at the new travel exchange for emerging travel destinations REETEX on February 2-3 in London, she pointed out that in addition to classic travel organizers, buyers on that travel exchange were also airlines considering the establishment of new services or redirection of most of existing services towards emerging destinations such as Belgrade.
Serbia's delegeation at REETEX consists of the representatives of tourist organizations of Serbia and Belgrade, the Belgrade Secretariat of Economy and few receptive tourist agencies.
REETEX focuses on business B2B meetings between exhibitors from central and southeast Europe, South Amercia and Africa and over 200 buyers- travel organizers and airlines from all around Europe.
According to REETEX organizers, international buyers show great interest in the market of our region - Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania.
Our delegation has so far had meetings with the representatives of some of the most significant companies in the tourism industry, including Explore Worldwide, Regent Holidays, Trafalgar Tours, Contiki Holidays, the Tourism Organization of Belgrade announced.
