Most significant Serbian importers, distributors and manufacturers of agricultural machines in visit to Italy

Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE) has chosen eight Serbian companies among the most significant importers, distributors and manufacturers of agricultural machines and invited their representatives to come to three-day visit to Perugia, in the region of Umbria, between May 31 and June 2.

The program of the visit, which is the result of cooperation between ICE and the region of Umbria, includes the seminar during which the study on the sector of agricultural machines in Serbia, elaborated by the Italian Foreign Trade Institute, will be presented. There are going to be some bilateral meetings between Serbian and ten Italian companies from Umbria interested in collaboration, as well as series of visit to Italian companies.

The entrepreneurs from Umbria will return the visit in June, in order to meet again and get to know potential Serbian partners better, with the aim of reaching agreements on distribution and industrial collaboration.

The sector of agricultural machines offers great opportunities and it is of exceptional importance to modernization and development of Serbian agriculture, because it represents one of the main resources and pillars of the economy of Serbia.

ICE already organized the visit of Serbian businessmen to Bologna in the region of Emilia-Romagna from May 7 to 11, 2007. On that occasion, bilateral meetings with 40 Italian companies took place, as well as visits to the manufacturers from that region.
