USAID helped realization of project for improvement of power supply to village of Nesalce near Bujanovac

The project for improvement of power supply to village of Nesalce, in Municipality of Bujanovac, with the help of American Agency for International Development (USAID), was formally opened yesterday (June 10, 2007).

The project will enable normal power supply to the inhabitants of that village during the whole year and it will improve business opportunities in that area.

On the territory of east and south Serbia, the program is realized in cooperation with CHF International. Total value of the project is 38,000 USD, 8,000 USD of which was provided by USAID / CHF International.

USAID program Community Revitalization through Democratic Activities initiates activities that improve local economic growth and creation of jobs for the sake of direct improvement of living conditions. This program was started in 2001.
