Until April 1, merge of Koridori Srbije and Putevi Srbije

Vice President of the Government and the minister of construction, traffic and infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, has said today that she will ask from the Government that by April 1 Koridori Srbije is merged with Putevi Srbije and outlined it is one of the commitments the government has towards IMF.

Mihajlovic said to journalists at the government of Serbia that all necessary approvals for international creditors for the merge are there and that the government should have decided on it last August but that Koridori Srbije have not been merged yet with Putevi Srbije.

-It is obvious someone deliberately does not want to merge. I believe agreement with IMF will help – Mihajlovic said.

Mihajlovic said that there are estimations that the merge of two companies will generate savings of at least 20%, as well as that problem in Lalinci at Ljig showed again there are problems in business of Koridori Srbije.

She explained that it is not about the state or contractor but Koridori Srbije which is asking for pre-projecting of Corridor 11 for the place so that they would get funds for that.

The minister also said Koridori Srbije got EUR 60 m for pre-projecting and mentioned that it would be proper in some cases but not at all.

She said that already on Friday, solution for their problem they have with roads due to construction of Corridor 11 will be presented to the citizens of Lalinci.
