Vladimir Antonov doesn't give up - The Russian businessman returns to Zrenjanin for the purchase of "Proleter" factory
The owner of the Russian company "Belan", Vladimir Antonov was yesterday (June, 12th, 2007) in Zrenjanin with intentions to make agreement for the purchase of the carpet factory "Proleter", which is in banckrupcy. Antonov asked to talk to the Management Board representatives of the factory's trusties in order to give them the new offer.
Antonov gave the best offer of 1,6 millions eur at the Auction held in April, but the licitation was announced unsuccessfull. To all interested buyers were offered manufacture plants, warehouses, management building, sale and other spaces within the factory, of a total area surface of 54.073 m2, as well as the reserves of the made products and materials.
"Belan" company offered two years ago 3 millions eur for the purchase of Zrenjanin factory and of a few of its stores in Serbia, with a condition not to organize a public competition and with a deadline of a few months for renovation of the factory and for the start of the manufacture which was stopped several years ago, and with hirement of about 300 workers.
Banckurpcy manager Danica Kesic and the Board of trusties didn't accept this offer, and therefore there were organized two unsuccessfull public tenders. Antonov expresses in his statement insatisfaction for loosing this much time.
He said that his company is planning to renovate the factory and start full manufacture of carpets "which would be sold in Russia, but also in the whole Europe".
