IBM is opening new Data center in Ljubljana
IBM announced it is opening new Ljubljana-based IBM Data center. The first IBM Data center of this kind in Slovenia will have 120 IBM experts in different fields and 70 of them have advanced knowledge in cloud computing. IBM experts will help the clients of the company In SEE region to adopt world level of IT solution and use it for growth and innovations of their business as well as support start up projects in developing their business.
New Data center provides a wide range of services of IBM infrastructure. It will enable clients easier access of local level to IBM Power and x86 servers, IBM Storage service and safety and networking services, generation of reserve copies and a line of other solutions which will result in making ideal public, private or hybrid environments.
IBM Data center in Ljubljana will provide also service of technological platform to start up projects. Global programs of IBM for startup projects provide funds and technology in order to develop their ideas. IBM is planning to expand this kind of cooperation to Slovenia as well. Experts who will work in IBM Data center will carry out mentoring programs for startup projects and provide access to IBM infrastructure within Data center.
