Construction of the main water supply system in Subotica started

In Subotica, works on construction of the first stage of the Central main water supply system started. Thus, implementation of the Contract between the City of Subotica and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for development of conduct totaling EUR 25 m. As Goran Mijatovic, the head of the Working unit for project implementation said for Tanjug, entire length of the main water supply system will be some 3 km and will have two sections.

He reminds that the contract with EBRD totals EUR 25 m, EUR 11 m of which refers to loan, somewhat more than EUR 2 m is a donation and EUR 11,5 m should be provided by the local self-governance form all possible local sources which are at disposal.
