Famous Czech investors from PPF group to arrive to SCG
The biggest Czech investment company PPF moves the focus of its activities to the East. Abroad this group directs, first of all, to financing, i.e. approval of credits to consumers, banking, insurance, as well as pension and investment funds.
It is estimated that this group, of which majority owner is the richest citizen of Czech Republic, Petr Kellner, has assets worth over 2 billion EUR. PPF uses very positive experiences from the Russian market where it started to approve cash credits 2 years ago and realized pure profit of €12m last year.
PPF is famous by its bold, sometimes even arrogant projects. One such was ended recently - PPF sold remaining 15% of stocks of the most profitable European commercial TV station "Nova" to company Central Europe Media Enterprise – CME whose owner is American billionaire Ronald Lauder (Este Lauder).
It is interesting that one of the main targets of further expansion of CME is SCG.
