May to see continued construction of the Zezelj bridge

(3D render of the Zezelj bridge) The works on construction of the Zezelj bridge will continue and they should start after the May holidays, the Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure has announced today.

At today’s meeting of the Government, the proposal on method of payment of the remaining funds for continuation of the construction of the Zezelj bridge has been adopted and the agreement was made to continue works, it was stated in the announcement.

Representatives of the Republic government, Provincial government and the City of Novi Sad accepted the proposal of the Ministry where the transfer of funds totaling EUR 2.922.000 from the Province to the City of Novi Sad will be regulated through the special contract.

It was planned the funds to be paid in early May after which a deadline of 20 months for construction of new Zezelj bridge and disassembling of the old assembly bridge would start.
