Russia and Turkey agreed - Turkish stream as of 2016
-The agreement implies that putting into operation and start of gas delivery through Turkey will be 2016 – Miler said.
Agreement between Turkey and Russia was signed by Miler and Turkish minister of energy and natural resources, Taner Yildiz during today’s meeting.
Construction of this gas pipeline was agreed in December 2014. Gas pipeline with annual capacity of 63 billion cubic meters should replace the South Stream which was suspended due to EU attitude, RT reports.
The news that official Ankara agreed that gas delivery starts in a year is coming after yesterday’s writings of Russian media that construction of long-awaited gas pipeline Turkish stream was postponed because Russian Gazprom and Turkish state-owned company Botas could not agree.
