Emirates visiting Pirot - Potential cooperation in the field of tourism, agriculture and industry

Business and governmental delegation of UAE visited Free zone Pirot and "Tigar" AD on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 where they discussed options for cooperation of economies of the two countries.

Vice president of the Chamber of Commerce Nis, Nebojsa Bogdanovic, said businessmen from UAE showed interest for tourist, agricultural and industrial potentials of our country.

Secretary general of chambers of commerce in UAE, Mohammad Bin Sale, said that UAE delegation is interested in considering options for cooperation of businessmen from Serbia and UAE and added that businessmen from UAE were thrilled with the fact that Pirot-based Tigar has been operating for 80 years now.

The head of "Tigar" AD Nebojsa Djenadic outlined that Pirot-based company, apart from placement of goods to UAE market, is interested in strategic partnership with businessmen from UAE who visited the stand of the company at the Agricultural fair in Novi Sad.

Delegation from the Emirates were presented with the options of investing in Free zone Pirot which is widely known for numerous benefits which it offers to investors which is why world famous company have been operating within the zone such as French "Michelin"("Tigar Tyres"), which invested last year over EUR 220 m in the new department in Free zone Pirot.
