How do NGOs imagine Serbian economy? - May 16 and 17 to see weekend of civil sector in Belgrade
Organizers of this specific festival of civil society are German-Serbian economic association (DSW) and Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
-Economy lives from ideas, information, initiatives and education not from corporative but civil sector – president of SCC, Marko Cadez, said at media conference.
-Serbian Chamber of Commerce has not had so far such a focus on cooperation with civil sector. We want to participate much more and develop a new dialogue in Serbia on what kind of economy we want to have – Cadez said for "eKapija".
This kind of a dialogue between NGOs and the public has existed since early nineties and it came out from the Athens. During two days of multi-congress, NGOs will have presentations in 6 conference halls and they will change every two hours. The event is free of charge and available for all visitors.
According to the head of DSW, Martin
Knapp, the event will focus on young people and information exchange and
business start. He added that event will be the opportunity for NGOs to expand
their public and increase the level of their influence as well as that the
dialogue will not end the second day of multi-congress.
-We are trying and we will try to keep dialogue with NGOs over the entire year – Knapp says for eKapija.
- We hope this event will be held next year as well so it will be even bigger and more known.
During the event, as it was
announced, there will be presentation on
entrepreneurship and innovations committed to the topic of starting business as
well as presentation on franchise business where there will be explained how
young people can bring already existing work to their country. The agenda also
comprises presentation which will address Global agreement, similar dialogue
platform which was initiated by UN and support f companies in case of natural disasters.
