Russians agree to exportation of Fiat cars, opinion still awaited from Belarus and Kazakhstan
The position of Russian officials on the question of duty free exportation of Fiat vehicles from Serbia is definitely positive, and the green light for this decision is still being awaited from other members of the Customs Union, primarily Belarus and Kazakhstan, Serbian Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Rasim Ljajic told Tanjug news agency on Sunday, 31 May 2015.
Speaking about trade with Russia, Ljajic said that Serbia recorded a 19% decrease in the first quarter of this year against the same period in 2014, but he also noted that the same period had seen a 20% increase in the exportation of food and agricultural products to Russia.
Russia is a very important foreign trade partner of Serbia, and we are increasing our exports to Russia every year, thus also reducing the deficit which is always present due to the importation of fuel from the Russian Federation, Ljajic explained.
