Department for production of ampules opened in Hemofarm - Investment totaling EUR 4,37 m

"Hemofarm" has officially opened the department for production of ampules totaling EUR 4,37 m where 50 people will work, the company communicated. In the department on 600 m2, entire production process, from preparation of solution, ampules filling, check to final product packing. As the company announced, expected production scope in 2015 totals 25 million ampules and in 2016, 60 million, Maximal theoretical section capacity is 75 million ampules.

The department will produce injection products in the form of ampules of different formats (1ml, 2ml, 3ml, 5ml and 10ml) which are used in anti-rheumatic and antibacterial therapies, in hypertension of heart diseases as well as anlagen therapies and facilitating post-surgery chronicle pain.

Apart from the local market, some 85% of production capacity is planned for export markets, mainly Russia (including former Soviet countries), EU, Iraq, Libya and West Balkans.

The opening was attended by the president of the Government of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic and GM at "Hemofarm" Ronald Seeliger.
