Goran Vasic named new Executive Director of SBB

Goran Vasic, former executive director of corporate development at Telenor, is the latest addition to the managerial team of United Grupa and will assume the position of General Manager and Chief Technical Officer at SBB.

Goran Vasic has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications. He first worked for Lucent in Thailand, Taiwan and Australia, and then for Ericsson in Israel, USA and Mexico. He is a member of the Telenor management team since 2006, and now he is leaving the position of Executive Director of Corporate Development at Telenor to assume the position of General Manager and CTO at SBB.

After more than 5 exceptionally successful years at the head of the company, former SBB GM Dragica Pilipovic Chaffey will now become the vice president for corporate affairs at United Group.

Over the past year, United Group has expanded its operations by acquiring Montenegrin cable operator BBM (now Telemach) and Slovenian mobile operator Tusmobil.
