Koceljeva-based Karina Moda gets EUR 1,2 m of subsidies from the Ministry of trade

The minister of trade, Zeljko Sertic, signed on Tuesady in Koceljeva the contract on assigning EUR 1,2 m to "Karina Moda" as an incentive for footwear production which will hire at least 220 new people in the next three years.

"Karina Moda" is a consumer of governmental help in investment project of the construction of the plant for production of footwear in Koceljeva.

- The contract sets aside more than EUR 1,2 m for the jobs for citizens of Koceljeva. This investment is an incentive for hiring 200 people in production of footwear and trading of clothes and footwear– Sertic added.

The company operates in production of footwear and wholesale of footwear and cloths and has been operating successfully since 2007 with an average annual turnover of some EUR 4,5 m and average annual production of 1,5 m pairs of shoes for EU market.

He said that today’s contract signing is a crown of domestic behavior of the heads of local authorities from Koceljeva.

The contract on funds assigning support investments in project implementation where at least EUR 1.218.000 are invested in fixed assets and at least 220 new vacancies open connected with initial investment.
