Biemme international from Italy to open factory in Sabac in September - Jobs for 80 workers

Biemma international from the Province of Treviso, Italy will start production in Sabac Free Zone in September, it was announced on the official website of Sabac.

This company produces showers and sinks for the market of Europe and developing countries. They have rented a 2,200 square meter production facility in Sabac. Over the previous few weeks, representatives of this company have been transporting machines to the site and started preparing the plant. On this occasion, Sabac Mayor Nebojsa Zelenovic spoke to company owners Petro Morasso and Silvia Bof on Monday (29 June 2015).

Mayor Zelenovic stressed that negotiations with several significant Italian companies willing to invest in Sabac had been intensifed lately. As he pointed out, cooperation with Italian businessmen is on a high level, which is also the reason why he invited the Italian ambassador to Serbia to visit Sabac.

- We are currently negotiating with five Italian companies. All of them are small family firms which all agree that Sabac is a good place for their investments. This company will hire 80 people for a start, and we are particularly happy to hear that they plan to expand production - said Mayor Zelenovic.

The owner of Biemme international expect production to start in September at the latest. According to Pietro Morasso, the company has a 30-year tradition and developed production in Italy and Bulgaria. His partner and co-owner Silvio Bof added that they planned to expand their sales network to the USA.
