Conditions met for arrival of Lidl in Leskovac

After the local self-government fulfilled all obligations defined in the Agreement on Disposal of Public Real Property, German retailer Lidl can commence the construction of its facility in Leskovac, it was announced on the city website.

This company has paid EUR 625,000 in full, thus creating conditions to come into posession of the subject real properties and get the appropriate consent for the registration of ownership rights on the subject realties.

- The city has taken on the responsibility to build a road with infrastructure in the extension of Vozdova Street in the following period. An open call for proposals has already been announced, and August is expected to see the commencement of construction of this street, public lighting, water supply and sewerage networks - said Leskovac Mayor Goran Cvetanovic who toured this location in company with Slobodan Milosevic, the director of the public company Pijaca.
