Construction of the Zezelj bridge started but workers are missing

Works on the Zezelj’s bridge have continued in more modest manner than expected. Out of 120 of the employees on the site, the headcount required, at the moment there are seventy of them so the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic and the head of the Directorate for capital investments, Nebojsa Malenkovic who at the same time represent funders of construction, expressed their dissatisfaction.

They have currently been working both on the land and in water at both coasts of the Danube and these are preparation works for continuation of construction of the lot 2 of the new Zezelj bridge.

– Recruitment of the employees took a bit longer than usual since they have been engaged on other work due to a break of a year and a half. The workers are coming next week and there will be more than 200 people on site – a collocutor of Dnevnik, close to the contractor said.
