Italian Casa Friuli Venezia Giulia opened the new office in Belgrade
First Secretary of the Italian Embassy Marco Leone stated on Friday (17 July 2015) that Italy is interested in further investing in Serbia, and the proof for that is the new office of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in Belgrade.
-Now, we have one more ‘player’ in our team and a very important one – emphasized Leone for Tanjug.
He stressed that Italy is interested in the further cooperation between the two countries andthe cooperation with local institutions and doing business aswel.
-For years Trieste has been representing the Belgrade door to Italy and Europe. It is natural that we now have the office of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in Belgrade.
According to him, the opening of the office is a merit of the president of that region,Debora Serracchiani, who visited Belgrade last year and since then she has started a set of activities in order to support companies of that region toexplore possibilities for doing business in Serbia.
-We are looking forward to working with ‘Casa Friuli Venezia Giulia’ in organizing business and cultural activities, as we successfully did it in December when we presented Tiepolo exhibition at the National Museum in Belgrade- said Leone.
The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region opened in Belgrade the institutional headquarters which is not only a representative office, but ‘a reference point for entrepreneurs of the Italian region who have investments or are interested in investing in Serbia or institutions cooperating with the Government’.
