'Swisslion’ buys 40 ‘Volvo’ trucks

The ‘Swisslion’ company has ordered 40 ‘Volvo’ trucks. Four FH 460 truck tractors, delivered in the middle of May, are the first ‘Volvo’ trucks with Euro 6 motors in the car park of the group, and there will be 36 new ones by the end of the year. Today , the transport fleet of the Serbian leader in confectionery industry contains 76 ‘Volvo’ trucks according to the ‘Volvo’s’ company website.

-Today , our transport capacities consist of 90 trucks , of which 76 are with the ‘Volvo’ sign. The oldest one is from the year 2000 with 1,200.000 kilometers crossed, indeed, without serious breakdowns. This is the best reference for the producer, and for us the solid argument to stay faithful to ‘Volvo’ wheels. Due to this, 20 more ‘Volvo’ FL trucks and 16 FH truck tractors will arrive at ‘Swisslion’ group by the end of the year – stated the ‘Swisslion’s’ general manager of sector for international transport Nenad Zaric.

As Zaric has explained, their transport needs are growing from day to day and ‘that is why they need a reliable, endurable, but economical fleet’.

-We have gained all that with ‘Volvo’ trucks, which throughout The Balkans and Europe – from Vrsac to Amsterdam, from Resen to Munich, from Trebinje to Switzerland and Austria, from Gornji Milanovac to Budapest… Four new truck tractors with Euro 6 motors are engaged on such routs.
