Rekovac monthly exports 15,000 bottles of wine to Russia

Vinex Levacki grozd winery from Belusic near Rekovac exports 15,000 bottles of various wines to the Russian Federation every month, said Milorad Stevanovic, the marketing manager of the winery.

- This year we've intensified previously launched exports to the Russian Federation, where our business is growing in terms of both wine assortment and quantities - Stevanovic told Tanjug news agency.

Following a short stagnation caused by a drop in the value of Russian ruble, which was also felt by all exporters, everything is now getting back to the old level and we expect results to improve, he assessed.

Stevanovic stressed it was difficult to talk about absolute quantities for exportation considering that it all depended on orders placed by foreign buyers at the given moment.

Vinex Levacki grozd winery has 35 hectares of its own vineyards that produced 65 tonnes of grapes last year.

This winery in Belusic has an annual production capacity of six million liters of white, black and rose wines.
