Čačak-based "Autoprevoz" obtained ten new buses of make "volvo",
which means that Israeli company "Kavim" fulfilled its obligation regarding investment of 1.33m EUR before the deadline. The Israeli, which bought the company from Čačak four months ago for 4.1m EUR, plan to procure another 10 such vehicles for intercity transportation and buses that are manufactured in accordance with the contemporary regulations about city transport.
Andrija Stanić, General Manager of "Autoprevoz", says that company "Kavim" plans to buy few more large transportation companies from this part of Serbia, as well as two companies from Vojvodina.
Satisfied with the investments of the new majority owner, he points out that this company is one of the positive examples of ownership transformation.
According to the people from this company, the problem with non-profitable bus lines with small number of passengers will soon be solved, because several new minibuses will become part of the motor pool of the company these days. Significant number of new vehicles will be used for organization of the tours for tourists and so-called day hires.
- The idea is that we take active part in serving tourist companies in the broader region. Our majority owner has already bought several similar companies in Romania, Macedonia and Albania, and they will also be active in tourist economy - says Stanić.
