First sectoral collective agreement signed in real sector

Representatives of trade unions and employers today signed the first sectoral collective agreement in the real sector, in the field of chemistry and nonmetals.
Ljubisa Nestorovic signed the agreement on behalf of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia, whereas Milos Nenezic signed it on behalf of the Union of Employers of Serbia.
The agreement calls for certain improvements to the existing Labor Law, primarily in the field of industrial safety and health at work, as well as in the part related to work and employment.
The signing ceremony was attended by Zoran Lazic, an assistant to the Labor Minister, Ljubisav Orbovic, the president of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia, and Nebojsa Atanackovic, the president of the Union of Employers of Serbia.
