Cipras resigns

The Prime Minister of Greece, Alexis Cipras, announced on Thursday night, August 20, 2015, that he resigns so that he would enable new elections stating that Greek people should evaluate his performance.

- I have moral commitment to communicate to your judgment what I have done - Cipras said in his addressing the citizens which was reported by Greek television.

According to him, mandate he got January 25 reached its limits and now citizens should decide on new mandate and to state here he presented them before foreign creditors in appropriate manner.

- In a word,,I will submit my and resignation of my Government to the President of Greece – Reuters reported.
