Monument to Rocky unveiled in Žitište - great interest of foreign media in "Chicken fest"

In front of about 15,000 people who visited "Chicken Fest" in Žitište on Saturday, the monument to "Rocky" was unveiled. The monument was unveiled by one of the creators and organizers of the festival, Zoran Babić, who is, by the way, Deputy Mayor of Žitište.

Most of world media broadcasted the news about monument and festival in Žitište. More than 100 journalists had accreditations to report from the festival. Among them were Reuters, AP, BBC, Canadian Television, as well as most domestic media. This was announced by company "Agroživ", general patron of the event.

The program was started with the performance of Dragan Jovanović Kuguars. The festival was ended with the music performed by Dragoljub Đuričić and Friends, "Apsolutno romantično" and "Van Gog".

According to the words of Goran Đaković, PR Manager of company "Agroživ" and member of Organizational Board of festival "Chicken fest Žitište 2007.", this festival will include some kind of poultry fair next year. On that occasion, "Agroživ" will gather all its partners from the country and abroad.
