Chinese coming to Kragujevac - Memorandum signed to build meat factory

The president of Serbia met in China with the chairman of SINOMACH (China National Machinery Industry), Ren Hongbin, and the president of CMEC, Zhang Chun, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of meat factory in Kragujevac.
- So far, China has been investing in infrastructure projects in Serbia, and I insisted on them investing in production. Reasons for this are plenty: aside from the improvement of economic cooperation, investment in production is a reason for our Chinese friends to stay forever, which would not be the case with the investment in infrastructure - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic pointed out.
He added that the MoU signing between the company CMEC and the City of Kragujevac represented a big step forward in the improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries, it was announced in a release issued by the President's Cabinet.
SINOMACH Chairman Ren Hongbin thanked the president of Serbia for his support and noted that the Chinese and Serbian sides efficiently and quickly fulfilled all agreements.
- China very successfully implements all projects in Serbia, the greatest of which is Kostolac Steam Power Station, and we are very satisfied with the results - Ren stressed.
After meeting with the representatives of SINOMACH and CMEC, President Nikolic also attended the ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between CMEC and the City of Kragujevac, which was signed by CMEC President Zhang Chun and Kragujevac Mayor Radomir Nikolic.
