First "Brandy fest" on September 27 and 28 in Belgrade
The first "Rakija fest" (Brandy Fest) will be held in Belgrade on September 27 and 28 on Nikole Pašića Square. According to organizer, it is expected that about 50 largest Serbian manufacturers of brandy will come to this manifestation.
Organizer of the first "Rakija fest" is Rakia bar "Vesela dolina", which is, judging by words of the visitors, inevitable stop for all hedonists and lovers of good brandy. It is only 100 meters away from the National Theater, in 5 Dobračina Street, and it is the place where one can taste more than 100 sorts of brandy with good snacks.
- What is whiskey to the British, cognac to the French, ouzo to the Greeks, tequila to Mexicans, that is brandy to Serbs. That is why we got the idea to present the best Serbian brandies both to domestic and foreign guests and to gather, educate, show and, of course, make a toast with the best Serbian product, all at one place. Our aim is to bring foreign manufacturers to Belgrade next year, because brandy is produced in another 26 countries of the world - said Negovan Stefanović from marketing agency "Vertica Media", which represents Rakia bar.
