More than 225.000 iPhone and iPad devices infected with virus

- We think that so far this is the biggest account theft on Apple through a virus – the American company for informatics safety Palo Alto Networks, published at its website where it summed up results of the investigation conducted together with the group of amateurs, Weip Tech (WT) which gathers fans of Apple brand in China.

The research showed that virus hit users from 18 countries, China, France, Russia, Japan, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Israel, Italy, Spain, Singapore and South Korea among them, francetvinfo.fr portal communicates.

Virus functions by jumping in the communication of iPhone and Pad from iTunes, a musical web shop of Apple and thus hackers get access to an account together with a password. Some victims communicated abnormal shopping while others survived hacker blockade of devices for which they were later asked to pay for ransom.

Apple communicated the problem hit solely the ones who not only blocked their devices to enable usage of functions which producer does not use but they got virus accessing unsecure sources. All measures o protect everybody who experienced the problem have been undertaken.
