Miodrag Kostic acquires Kempinski Palace Hotel in Portoroz

Companies Istrabenz Turizem and Agri Holding AG (a member of the MK Group) have signed a sales agreement for 100% stake in Istrabenz Portoroz. This deal is expected to be closed by the end of November, thus making Miodrag Kostic, the president of the MK Group, the owner of Kempinski Palace hotel, MK Group announced in a release.
Kempinski Palace is one of the most luxury hotels in Portoroz and the region. It has five stars, 164 rooms and 17 suites. In addition to rooms and suites, the hotel also features a luxury spa center, restaurants and conference rooms.

Acquisition of the prestigious Kempinski hotel in Slovenia is completely in line with our strategic goal to position ourselves as a leading company in the field of tourism in the region - Miodrag Kostic commented on the procurement of the new hotel.
MK Group specializes in the hotel business and mountain tourism. It operates the elite hotel Grand, hotel Angella, the suite complex Suncani Vrhovi at Mount Kopaonik. The business portfolio of the company also includes Belgrade-based 88 Rooms Hotel, which was declared the most popular hotel in Serbia on Trip Advisor, the release reads.
