An access road to Mihailo Pupin Bridge was opened to traffic on Saturday (3 October 2015) by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia Lee Manchang, while the red ribbon was cut in the presence of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
This access road to Pupin Bridge stretches for 7.6 kilometers, from Zrenjaninski put Road to Ovca.
Minister Mihajlovic announced earlier that the remaining section of the access road from Ovca to Pancevacki put Road would be finished by the year's end, when the whole project to build Pupin Bridge with all access roads 21 kilometers long will be completed.
This investment totals USD 44 million.
Let us remind that the bridge between Zemun and Borca was opened to traffic in December 2014.
